METIS presents… an extract from
The Bunker Project has been a city-wide investigative project looking at the uses of hidden war spaces, such as bunkers and air raid shelters. Metis Arts, the new performing arts company behind the project, is developing the ideas generated by the project for a performance piece in 2008. A private emergency company, ‘Catastrophix’, is in Cambridge offering training for how to cope with disasters, from leaky pipes to nuclear war: but no one has reckoned with the protesters – or with these rehearsals becoming a reality…
For the ‘jam’ session at the Junction, ‘Catastrophix’ is here to give a presentation on their training programmes, background and company philosophy.
